So the day has almost arrived for the wedding (Sunday 25th July). After a few frantic nights of printing lemonade labels, orders of service, place name cards etc,  I’ve just about got everything off my ‘to do’ list.

Feeling very nervous and exited, it’s all very surreal. There will definitely be some sore heads come Monday morning in the office.

I just wanted to thank everyone at K2L for there support over the weeks leading up and I wanted to apologise for my constant banter about all things wedding wise. I reckon they’ll be glad when I’m off treking around in my campervan on my honeymoon next week,  a nice bit of peace and quiet for you guys.

Well with under three months to Dday (25th July) I thought I’d best pull my finger out and finish the wedding invites I started many moons ago now. Below I’ve added some images of the invites and the site (many thanks to Al for burning the midnight oil on the build). Now just the table place settings, seating plans, order of service cards, signage, oh and my speach to get done for July. Phew.

Nice simple and clean icon systems by Iconwerk from Germany. Neat, simple and effective.

Currently we’re working on a few ident concepts for Thomas Hardie’s 25th Anniversary. As we wanted to give it a retro feel we started looking towards the stylings of 1970’s Olympic classic graphic design posters. Whilst researching I found a series of lovely prints by Lowe Brindfors which recall this retro feel but also with modern twist.

Has anyone seen the latest adverts for the BBC’s coverage of the Winter Olympics?  I’ve just found out that it’s Studio AKA who have designed the campaign. Nice job guys.
