Salford City Reds will open their Super League account at the new Salford City Stadium on Saturday 4th February and here’s a sneak peak at the ‘New Beginning’ concept we provided for them.
Following on from last seasons work, it was r’Tom who created the striking visuals, and over the course of the next few games you’ll see how the concept really comes to life (quite literally).
For more on the big day and ticket information visit The Reds site.

Earlier today, in the midst of what seemed like a Manchester monsoon, our intrepid team of Sarah and Tessa made their way around the restaurants of Manchester, spreading the word and hoping to recruit some more restaurants and hotels for The Green Chef Revolution.
Armed with a full roll out of branded literature, not even the rotten weather could stop them from rallying around promoting this fantastic scheme.
If you’re a restaurant or hotel and you care about what happens to your food waste, become a revolutionary and contact Fresh Start Waste on 0808 178 1966 or check out their site for more details.

Tessa, our very own David Bailey, managed to get up among the roof tops of our new home, Exchange Quay earlier this week.
It really was a peach of a day weather wise, and on a day like that you can see for miles around. We’re settling in just great to our new surroundings in Salford Quays and with views like this it’s easy to see why.

Thought I’d post a few blooper pics from our recent photoshoot from Ed at High Contrast (with the actual piccy’s soon to appear on our site).
It was a day for brushing our hair and wearing our best work gear, and generally trying to look our prettiest for the camera. I think the star of the show was actually our lovely wall graphics from the guys at Signs Northwest which you can just see peeking through on these shots. As I said, more are to follow on our actual site shortly so keep a look out.

Just received the weekly Graze box and was greeted by a nice little surprise in the form of a festive friend to brighten up my desk. Meet the Graze snowman! Mine is styling a ghetto blaster and an ice cream. How festive.

So we’re all beavering away here at K2L HQ and with Christmas on the horizon we thought it was best that we get round to erecting the famous, or infamous BLACK Christmas tree. Well with it being so dark and cold outside we needed a bit of something to brighten things up.
We hope you agree it looks pretty as a picture, beautifully decorated by ‘r Sarah may I add.
Ah that reminds me, I need to get that Christmas list wrote up.

This afternoon a few of the K2L team (Sarah and Tessa) took some time out from work to spread the word of our new home, around the other buildings and businesses in Exchange Quay.
If you were one of the lucky few you may have received one of our ‘Tea + Biscuits’ DM’s, embellished with real tea bags, inviting you around for a brew and a chat.
We have already had a positive reaction from local businesses over Twitter so we look forward to meeting as many of you as possible in the near future. We have the biscuits at the ready!

We wanted to give ourselves a place in the new studio where we could scribble, doodle, write and develop ideas, so when we came across Idea Paint we thought we would have to give it ago. So now we can draw wherever we want on the studio walls and not be worried about leaving a mark! (No obscenities though please Mark!)
